I participated in a Deputy Chair candidate forum last evening hosted by St. Paul Republicans and crowd of almost 100 people gathered at O’Gara’s in St. Paul to watch. A reporter for the online publication Checks & Balances was in attendance and reported today on the event.

This is a small video clip from WCCO-TV tonight about blogger access at the Minnesota House of Representatives. I said “House Democrats should be ashamed” for denying bloggers access to cover the procedings.

I traveled across Minnesota on Saturday to attend the first BPOU conventions of 2009 and the response to my campaign was very positive.  I have always enjoyed driving the state to meet with Republican activists and I look forward to attending more conventions in the coming weeks.
